Haying season has begun! We are expecting a stretch of sunny weather, making for a perfect start to the season. Let’s hope the weather doesn’t change and we should be able to get all of our first cutting done!
Psst... I love to give lots of slurps! They're just damp kisses!

The lambs have finally been separated. Boys on the left and girls on the right. Sky is eagerly waiting for her partners to come join her as this many lambs is too many for one dog to watch.

The rainy weather may not be good for haying, but it sure is making the garden happy. Lots of plants need lots of water. Fingers crossed the rain will stop so we can get some more hay in.
Making a Round Bale
This day we did some bailing. Here is a sped up video of some of the process.
Moving Lambs
We moved the lambs to their next paster with or new little helper. 1 girl and her collie were far more successful than 3 humans last week. Josie is already a big help round the farm. We couldn’t be happier with how she is doing and can’t wait for whats to come with her training.
Serious Evie
Can you tell who takes their job very seriously while i’m planting in the garden? Evie is always on guard regardless of what her coworkers might be doing. Don’t worry, she’s got your back covered!
